Had to reshare this the second Hermann, Missouri got a mention!
One of the coolest things about this little corner of Missouri is how much history is packed into it. Hermann was settled by German immigrants in the 1830s, became a major wine-producing area, and you can still see that heritage everywhere today in the historic brick buildings, wineries, food and of course Oktoberfest, which is celebrated every weekend in October.
And that’s one of our favorite things about staying at Out on a Limb. We’re tucked away in the woods about 6 miles from downtown Hermann, so you can spend the day exploring Missouri W**e Country and then come back to the quiet, the hot tub and your own little treehouse in the woods. 🌲
