We are praying for all those affected by Hurricane Helene. At Casa Menta, we were very lucky: we did not have any storm surge flooding in the house, it came close but thankfully the house sits high enough that it stayed completely dry. The surge did come up onto the lanai and flooded the pool but that is minimal compared to what so many others are dealing with.
