I know it sounds crazy, but I miss my dogs the most at devotion time. Why? We have a daily routine. I get up early and so do they. They know the routine better than I do. While they go outside, I brew the coffee. They come back in, get their morning treat, I grab the coffee and away to the table I go. They follow me and assume their morning posture. It usually doesn’t look like this, but they are always close and usually fast asleep again.

Our daily disciplines matter. Not only to us, but to those around us. I’ve literally “trained” my dogs for devotion time everyday. They know what I’m going to do. If my dogs have watched me and taken notice of the routine, how can I miss that the people around me are watching what I do, too?! The people around us are “catching” what we are doing and they learn about us through our behaviors and our character. Our daily disciplines and our daily choices matter. May my life reflect Him well!

Marlo has been apart of our family for a very long time. I’ve never been her person, that was Jason. Now she loves Morgan. And she’s her person. I’m okay with that. I really am! lol!

She’s taught me a lot over the years. Last night she taught me that it’s okay to stick your tongue out if you don’t like the sweet nothings being spoken in your ear 🤣🤣🤣🤪😜😝😛😂😂😂

I saw this the other day and I’ve pondered it ever since. Maybe it will captivate you like it has captivated me. If you feel like God is testing you, be sure to pass the test. I don’t want to be like the Israelites who kept having to go around the SAME mountain for 40 years because they kept failing the exam. I’m sure you don’t either. The testing might be heavy, but it’ll definitely be worth it!

Just thinking back to life last week. There’s always a door that leads to opportunity. Coffee in NYC just hits different. I wish Longchamp would partner with me. Sigh. No matter where they go, I pray my daughters always know I’m their biggest fan.

He’s not on social media but I wanted to take a moment and appreciate what a wonderful nail guy he has been to me over the years. He always makes sure I get an appointment, listens to my earnings about the little bit of nail knowledge I have, and deals with my OCD marvelously. He also goes along with my hair brain ideas each time. Thank you, Long, you’ve been great!!!!!!!
