Big thank you to members of our property committee today for getting the down spouts as well as excess water pop ups installed and buried on Logan's Cabin. Always easier to find good help when big kid toys are involved 😀

Calling all Cub Scouts to report for DUTY summer of 2027 Camp Illinek NEEDS you!!!

A new award for summer camp is the Scout is Reverent patch. Scouts can earn the patch by attending Scouts Own Service and learning more about religious emblems and recognitions.

Don't want to wait until summer to earn a religious emblem? Check out this virtual option for PRAY Awards. For information about religious emblems in general, contact the council's religious emblems coordinator, Kyle Holtgrave, by leaving a reply here.

Welcome to the registration site for the 2026 Virtual P.R.A.Y. Religious Emblems Program. These are Sunday classes that meet every week.

From News Channel 20: It's official! Springfield recorded a high temperature of 100° on Wednesday afternoon. It's the first triple-digit high since July 31, 2012. This makes it 5146 days since our last 100° reading. Crazy stat!

We were also just 1° shy of the record high of 101° in 2011.

Stay safe everyone! Black flag weather like this must be taken seriously!
