Our Story

Finding Stonecrest Lodge

After making an executive family decision to move further north in Georgia to a cooler climate, we began our search for our new home. After many disappointments in our search, Rich found this property on line and wanted to take a look at it. I was dead set against it, as I thought it was too far north, and a long way away from our Florida family. After some pleading on Rich’s part, I gave in and agreed to take a look. However, I was adamant about this property, not being for us. From the moment we walked into the home with soaring ceilings and post and beam construction we was in awe. Next, we looked out of the floor to ceiling windows to see a panoramic view of the Appalachian and Blue Ridge mountains. The rest is history. We made an offer that day. No regrets! We love sharing our home with friends, and friends we haven’t met yet. It’s a southern thing.
