***2026 SEASON COMES TO AN END***

25 teams took to the Cass Lake Chain to compete in our year end TOC. Not only was an increased purse up for grabs but so was the Team of the year. The team of Bob Hell and Travis Kaai not only took the top honors in the TOC but over threw the three teams that were in front of them to take home team of the year and $950 for that accomplishment

***TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS 2026***

CASS LAKE off limits begin at sundown on 9/13/2026

BIG THANKS TO OAK HAVEN FOR HOSTING US AND MAKING IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO FISH THE CASS CHAIN OF LAKES WITHOUT THEM WE WOULDNT BE THERE!

We will be blasting off from right at the mouth of the river in Andrusia see picture for the area. Weigh in will be at oak haven. Make sure you allow enough time to get back from where ever you are as the no wake areas can add 10-15mins to your time back. I have posted a picture of where you must be not to be considered late.

THERE IS A LARGE WALLEYE TOURNAMENT THIS DAY AND THE LANDING OFF OF HWY 2 WILL BE FULL SO PLAN ACCORDINLY TO USE THE RESORT, LANDING IN WOLF BAY .

I have clarified with the Beltrami County Sheriff and even though not posted they want the areas between Kitchi and Little rice and Little Rice and Big rice as no wake areas. I have posted a picture of it as well. If you are reported to be running these areas meaning on plane to advance your position on another angler you will be Disqualified from the tournament simple as that.

3pm check in flight 1 (boats 1-12) 3:15 flight 2 (boats 13-25)

With the addition of funds from the last regular tournament being cancelled payouts were extended to give everyone opportunity to cash in and are as follows (subject to change if any expenses arise between now and then)

6th- $700

boat draw is based on points through the last event and ties are determined by total weight. Picture attached for boat draw

Sorry for the delay! 25 anglers took to fish lake and as always teams found it them on a stingy Fish Lake the team of Joey & Ryder Miskovich put it together and took the win

1st- Joey & Ryder Miskovich-16.98
2nd- Bryer Burkhart & Finley Nelson-16.52
3rd- Travis Kaai-16.51

season points are available on weigh fish. We will be posting more about the TOC/Final points event on Cass Lake where we will crown team of the year along with the Tournament of Champions winner. We have a tie for first currently!

Unfortunately itasca county and us steel do not have an eta for us on opening we waited as long as we could but unfortunately we will be cancelling stop #4….everything will roll into the last tournament the toc at cass lake see you at the next!
