Tonight’s fresh fish feature, on this fine Friday at the end of August shows hints of Fall! Just well wishing over here in the Great State of Texas!

Pan Seared Alaskan Halibut! Finished with a house cured bacon butter sauce & crispy capers. Served with braised cabbage & herb salad. Soft, subtle and delicious all in one bite.

This weeks Chop House Sammy Spotlight item is……drum roll please…….The Texas Reuben or is it Rueben…………

Either way, we are doing it different! We start with the best Rye Bread this side of the Mississippi from Two Clay Birds Bakery. I mean their bread is legendary. Toasted & Smeared with the tangiest Texas Dressing and our house fermented sauerkraut. But it’s what in the middle that counts.

We brine, pickle and smoke our brisket here in house to make the absolute best corned beef. This Texas Reuben is available at The Midland Hotel and Chop House for lunch service and served with hand cut fries or chips!

For our Sunday Spotlight Menu item, we are going BIG at The Midland Hotel and Chop House!

We have all your favorites from Herb Roasted Prime Rib, to Red Chile Fried Chicken, to Shrimp n Grits. But the house favorite is the Pork Chop Milanesa.😊😊😊😁

We take one of our bone in pork chops and pound it thin, panko crusted & lightly fried. Then finished with a Louisiana Shrimp Gravy and sunny side Yard Egg and served over Green Chile White Cheddar Grits.

Holy Smokes! This is our take on “grits & grillades” Texas Style!
