Exciting news!!🥳🙌🏼 Meet Carly and Kendall, our 2 new Tiny Town Managers!⛺️✨Learn more about them below
🏠 Carly and Kendall both grew up in Layton, Utah where they attended high school together.
🎓After graduating they lost touch because they both left to go explore the world!
🌎During their unique travels Carly discovered her passion for meeting all kinds of people, cultures, service and languages! She has now worked for organizations doing humanitarian work in 12 different countries, has learned 4.5 languages so far, earned a bachelor degree in Linguistics, started writing a book and found her dream career of teaching the English Language in whichever country the wind blows her to. In her free time you’ll definitely find Carly dancing! She loves all kinds, but her forte with over 15 years of training is Polynesian dance. She also loves to practice yoga, cook nutritious meals, write, have meaningful conversations and do anything outdoors in the sunshine.
🌎 On Kendall’s journey he discovered his gift and love for art, the island life and the Polynesian people. After living in Tonga and selling paintings for a living in Florida he decided to take his talent to the next level by studying the art of tattooing. He found an apprenticeship in New Zealand, sold everything he had and studied traditional Polynesian tattooing there for one year.
🎨When he’s not drawing, you’ll find Kendall listening to reggae, taking apart anything just to put it back together or enjoying the beach! He loves to surf, swim, dive, kayak, fish, anything else ocean related and literally can’t live away from the beach for too long!
🧡 Covid brought Carly and Kendall both back to Layton for the first time in 10 years where they reconnected when Carly asked Kendall to do her Polynesian tattoo. The day of they realized how in line their perspectives, passions, values and goals are and that they had a magnetic connection unlike either of them had experienced. They haven’t been able to stop talking since!
🌊Kendall recently got a job at Insight Oceanside Tattoo, invited Carly to join and that’s how they went from their tiny town of Layton, Utah to this Tiny Town in Hidden Meadows, CA.
🧡 They both feel that managing an eco friendly camp ground of Tiny Homes couldn’t be any more “them” or more of a perfect start to their California Adventure together. ☀️
