Unauthorized parties have been sending fraudulent messages to guests, asking them to confirm reservations through a link that requests their credit card details. These messages are not legitimate, and we strongly urge you to take immediate action to protect your accounts.

To safeguard your accounts, please follow these steps:
1. Update Your Passwords: Immediately update your passwords for Booking. com and all other OTA platforms you use (e.g., Airbnb). Use strong, unique passwords with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Add an extra layer of security by enabling 2FA on your OTA accounts.
3. Check Account Activity: Review recent activity on your accounts. If you notice anything suspicious, report it immediately to the platform’s support team.
4. Inform Your Guests: If your guests receive any suspicious messages, advise them to ignore these links and confirm their bookings directly through official channels.

In the recent earnings release, Airbnb disclosed that they have surpassed the milestone of 5 million hosts globally. While airdna count indicates a slightly lower figure of 4.95 million, it remains a significant achievement. Notably, among these hosts, 3.5 million maintain only a single listing each.

Further analysis reveals that a mere 30,000 hosts are responsible for managing more than 20 listings, constituting a mere 0.6% of the total host population.

This demonstrates Airbnb's unparalleled ability to attract and cultivate individual hosts while fostering a diverse and expansive supply network. But more importantly In light of recent statementséa by Airbnb appointees regarding the purported influx of large corporations into neighborhoods, it is important to clarify that such claims are not grounded in factual evidence. Contrary to this narrative, the vast majority of hosts on Airbnb's platform are everyday Americans striving to meet financial obligations such as mortgage payments, college tuition for their children, or saving for retirement.
