🌕 LAST WALKWAY AT NIGHT OF THE SEASON ✨

Saturday, October 24 is your last chance to experience the Hudson Valley beneath the glow of the full moon in 2026.

Start your evening at the East Gate Plaza in Poughkeepsie from 4:30–5:30 p.m., where our friends from the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum will help kids understand the magic of flight by creating their own gliders and paper planes!

Then, head 212 feet above the Hudson as daylight fades and the full Hunter's Moon rises over the river. From 6-7:30, Watch Poughkeepsie and Highland begin to sparkle and take in one of the Hudson Valley’s most spectacular views after dark.

🔭 Weather permitting, the Mid-Hudson Astronomical Association will be on the bridge with telescopes for an up-close look at the moon and night sky.

🌉 Walkway members: FREE
🎟️ Non-members: $5
⭐ Children 12 & under: FREE

Advance registration is encouraged for faster entry at the gate. Every ticket supports Friends of the Walkway and helps make special programs like this possible.
