Slow down and step into the forest. 🌲
Shinrin-Yoku, or Forest Bathing, is a Japanese practice centered on mindful time in nature. Guided by Dr. Mark Ellison, a certified forest therapy guide, guests at can immerse themselves in the trees and rolling blue hills of the Nantahala National Forest.
Through gentle mindfulness practices and sensory awareness, the experience invites you to reconnect with the natural world—and yourself.
The journey concludes with a peaceful tea ceremony featuring botanicals foraged from the surrounding landscape.
It’s one of the most restorative ways to experience the region. Save this post & share it with someone you’d like to try Forest Bathing!
