We had a great time this weekend at The Prairie Dog taproom listening to Stereo Trip and trying to learn to swing and line dance! This place is totally worth a visit!

Yesterday we took some time to do the spring Volksmarch at Crazy Horse Memorial! We highly recommend doing this if you haven't already!

GUESS WHAT.... on September 26th you have that opportunity again! If you're thinking about doing the Volksmarch in September, Robins Roost is only a 15 minute drive from Crazy Horse!!!

Mount Rushmore National Memorial Ticket Lottery

The National Park Service has announced plans for a July 3, 2026 Independence Day celebration at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display over Mount Rushmore.

Due to the scale of the event, attendance on July 3 will be limited to ticketed participants, with tickets distributed through a lottery on Recreation.gov.

TICKET LOTTERY INFORMATION


LOTTERY WINDOW:
April 8 at 8:00 AM (MT) – April 12 at 9:59 PM (MT)

Each applicant may enter the lottery once

Applicants may request up to four tickets

Tickets are available to U.S. residents only

Lottery results announced April 14
Each lottery selection will include tickets for up to four people and either parking garage access at the memorial, OR shuttle transportation from Rapid City.

Ticket holders will be able to enter Mount Rushmore beginning at 1:00 PM, with event programming currently scheduled to run approximately 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Seating within the memorial amphitheater will be first-come, first-served.
