We were honored to have this opportunity to share our Badger Hole cabin with you all. Thank you Custer County Historical Society and Friends.
A heartfelt thank you to Linda Flounders for the wonderful tour and rich history lesson about the original Badger Hole — Badger Clark’s first cabin. This week, the Custer County Historical Society (along with friends) visited Newton Fork Ranch, where we had the opportunity to record Linda’s stories and capture video footage of the cabin and surrounding property. Stay tuned to our page for updates — we’ll be sharing the full video as soon as it’s ready.
Spoiler alert ... you can STAY in the cabin. It is available for nightly rental - if you're looking for a cozy, off-grid experience, Newton Fork Ranch is just minutes from downtown Hill City and sits along the Mickelson Trail.
