Day 1 at the Love Mexico Conference | Mérida, Mexico!
What an incredible way to kick off our time at the Love Mexico Conference! Our first day was packed with education, new experiences, beautiful venues, and an unforgettable evening of celebration.
We started the morning with registration before heading to our first event: a special Jewish Wedding Certification hosted by Michele Schwartz. After four hours of training, we are proud to officially call ourselves Jewish Wedding Specialists! This was an amazing opportunity to expand our knowledge and learn more about creating meaningful and memorable wedding experiences for our clients.
Of course, we couldn't miss the opportunity to explore our host hotel, Fiesta Americana Mérida, with a site inspection! This beautiful property features 350 rooms and suites, ranging from Superior Rooms and Fiesta Club accommodations to Junior Suites, Master Suites, Governor Suites, and the impressive Presidential Suite. Located along the famous Paseo de Montejo, the hotel combines elegant architecture, comfortable accommodations, dining options, a swimming pool, and a convenient location for exploring Mérida. It's definitely a property worth knowing for travelers looking to experience this beautiful destination.
After a busy day of learning and exploring, it was time to get ready for the Welcome Ceremony hosted by IADWP at the Mérida Convention Center.
And what a night it was! The venue was beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was electric, and everything came together for an incredible welcome celebration. From the delicious food and drinks to the amazing live music by Muziek Grand Band, the evening was full of energy, excitement, and opportunities to connect with fellow wedding professionals from around the world.
Day 1 was everything we hoped for and more! We are excited to continue learning, making connections, discovering new opportunities, and bringing fresh inspiration back to our clients.
This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the Love Mexico Conference has in store!

Yesterday our Tren Maya experience from Tulum to the Cancún station was definitely worth trying!

The ride took us about 2 hours from Tulum to the Tren Maya Cancún station, making it a convenient way to travel between these destinations without dealing with the highway traffic. The train was comfortable, spacious, and offered plenty of room to sit back, relax, and enjoy the views along the way.

One thing that really stood out to us was the affordability. Depending on the fare category, the Tulum–Cancún route can be a very reasonable option compared with other transportation, especially when you consider the comfort and convenience of traveling by train.

The experience actually reminded us a lot of taking Amtrak out of Chicago. There’s something nice about being able to board a train, find your seat, relax, and let someone else do the driving while you enjoy the scenery.

For travelers visiting the Riviera Maya, the Tren Maya is another transportation option worth considering when traveling between Tulum and Cancún. It’s comfortable, convenient, and gives you a different way to experience this part of Mexico.

We recently had the opportunity to visit Ocean El Faro in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and what a beautiful property to experience!

Ocean El Faro is a beachfront all-inclusive resort with something for everyone. The resort features 11 dining options, 13 bars, and 4 pool and water experiences, including large swimming pools, a lazy river, and a family water park. There are also plenty of activities, entertainment, a beautiful beach, an adults-only El Beso area, and much more.

One thing we definitely recommend considering is upgrading to the Privilege/Premium Level experience. Guests who upgrade can enjoy added amenities such as access to the premium drinks and snacks, preferential restaurant reservations, a private beach and pool area, butler and concierge services, upgraded in-room amenities, a welcome gift, nightly and additional spa benefits.
