I know this part of our farm doesn't look like Hawaii, and it's not meant to, this is our future xmas tree Winter wonderland where locals can buy Hawaii grown xmas trees and enjoy garden grown conifers and maples. We've got Leyland cypress, thuja, cryptomeria and Arizona cypress.

The textures and colors of lipstick palms growing together with bismarckia nobilis is a feast for the eyes. Both of these species grow well here despite the relatively cool montane tropical conditions between 59F and 75F.

It's gone up in smoke, completely wiped out, the most beautiful city in all of Hawaii. How many more climate disasters do we need before something is done besides scapegoating the average person or going after farmers to pretend something is being done?
