Liliuokalani Gardens is another beautiful place to visit.. It was given to the people of Hawaii by Queen Liliuokalani .. She was the only reigning queen of the Hawaiian kingdom. The park has been redone several times in the past, because of the damage that was caused by tsunami's..

People enjoy the park everyday to exercise, to have family picnic's, to fish, and also many weddings are held there every year. It is such a beautiful place for a stroll. It is a must see when you come to Hilo..

While in Hilo a beautiful place to visit is Moku'ola ~ Moku - Island & Ola - health & healing ~ otherwise known as Coconut Island... In the old days it was considered to be a place of refuge and also a place for healing & longevity.
