Summer Parking Reminder at The Island Club
Dear Island Club Owners,

As we enter the busy summer season, we’d like to remind you that parking at The Island Club is very limited during these peak months.

To help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all owners and guests, we kindly ask that you limit the number of vehicles you bring to the property whenever possible. Carpooling or using alternative transportation can significantly reduce congestion and make it easier for everyone to access parking.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us manage this busy time of year. If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Good afternoon,

The forecast continues to trend in our favor with the track staying to the East. This will help us avoid significant impacts from TD9. Even with the track staying East we will see some rain, wind and rough surf…please see the recent updated below and attached.

The next update will be around 6pm this evening.

FIRST ALERT: Some good news with the latest 11PM Advisory this Saturday evening - With recent models and the latest forecast track from the NHC, confidence is increasing that the storm will take an eastward turn and avoid landfall along the southeastern coast. As of this evening, Tropical Depression 9 has not strengthened, but it is still forecasted to become Tropical Storm Imelda on Sunday.
While Imelda will likely stay offshore, impacts are still expected with potential flooding, heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts. 4-6" of rainfall is possible through early next week.

As we head into tomorrow, models will continue to provide more information on the track of future Imelda.

Storm Preparedness Update 1

Hilton Head Island, SC (Sept. 26, 2025) - The Town of Hilton Head Island is monitoring 94L (future Imelda), a storm that is expected to become a tropical depression in the coming days. It remains too early to know its exact impact in South Carolina; however, the Island community should prepare for heavy rainfall and potential flooding.

The Town’s leadership and emergency management team are meeting regularly to discuss storm developments, preparedness, and operational impacts as the weather forecast evolves. Community updates will be provided daily between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., beginning today. More updates will be added as needed.
