Watch multihull sailboats take to the waters surrounding Hilton Head Island during the Hilton Head Multihull Regatta, hosted by the South Carolina Yacht Club. Racing takes place Friday through Sunday, with a medium-distance race on Friday followed by buoy racing on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on wind and weather conditions, courses will be held in the Atlantic Ocean or Port Royal Sound, offering plenty of opportunities to catch the action from the beach. The event concludes Sunday afternoon with an awards ceremony recognizing the top three boats in each class.

🌇 Something interesting happens on Hilton Head Island when it comes to sunsets. Because of the way the island sits, the creeks and marshes on the back side get some of the best evening color, while the ocean side keeps things pretty too.

Catching a great sunset around here really does not require much effort. Just show up a bit before the sky starts to shift and find a good place to stand still for a while.
