Mala House survived Hurricane Florence. House is 100% fine!

Nothing like a fresh coat of paint!

As previously mentioned, Michael and I are getting the house ready for 2018. Couch is in, new king memory foam mattress is all made up, power washing down. Last thing left to do is a fresh coat of paint!

As you can see, the painters did a great job!

Hi all. We are spending Thanksgiving in our house updating, replacing and refreshing our home after this past season. We’ve replaced the couch with a much larger one for more people to crash on for movie nights. Also, we are making arrangements to repaint the inside. We have added a few more Adirondack chairs for the front porch and patio.

One more thing, we will be purchasing a pool pass for guests so that they have access to the beautiful Harbour Town pool.

Learn how to throw a cast net from local angler Scott Moody. This hands-on program will show you the best way to learn to “open that net” on every cast. Beginners are welcome. Bring your own net, or a loaner will be made available to you.

Honey Horn History Walk

Travel back in time with the stories of Honey Horn’s past 200 years. You’ll learn about the planters, the northern hunters who visited in the winter, the islanders who worked on site and the Hack Family who lived at Honey Horn from 1950 until the late 1990s. This walk, led by a Museum docent, will take you past the places they lived and worked.
