Rich Farm/Rich Country Farmhouse Welcome to the Rich Family Farm, home of the Rich Country Farmhouse! We are a family-owned farm that was established in 1911 by Wallace Hanford Rich.

He was born in the farmhouse in 1894 and began a successful poultry business that was passed down to his son, Wallace More Rich and lasted for many years. In the 1940's, dairy farming was also added to the business. Today, the farm is much quieter and isn't farmed as a full-time business. But our family still owns and resides on the farm and we have chickens and gardens and use the original farmho

use as a short-term vacation rental. We have welcomed guests from all over the world to the Rich Country Farmhouse and hope that you might want to come and visit sometime! While we maintain our own website, most people book our house through VRBO or on Airbnb. Please check our availability calendar on those sites for the dates you're interested in. Some basic information about the house: we have room for up to six guests (2 queen sized beds and 2 twin beds). We do allow pets, but there is a small additional charge. We are located about 3 1/2 hours from the New York City area. We do not allow smoking in the house. We have a two-night minimum stay and a two-week maximum stay. We have satellite TV and wireless internet, but because of our location, cell phone service on the farm is very limited. The house is fully equipped for your visit, everything from kitchen supplies to linens and towels. We are not a bed and breakfast, so come prepared to do your own cooking! Our farmhouse is not located in a secluded location -- it is located on our farm "complex". But, while we are glad to help with information about the house and area, and often give "tours" of the farm, we are just as happy to leave you alone!
