Want to give a huge shoutout to Off-Road Hochatown for bringing out some of their toys last week. They delivered the machines ready to go filled with gas, helmets, and ready for the trails.

We wanted to sample a few different options, so we have everything from a 2-seater rock crawler to a 4-door fully enclosed and air-conditioned rig - which was perfect for our friends with kids.

We do!

These ladies were in a group of 7 deer that hung out for a long time in the backyard. They came over from Living Water Lodge -we can only assume they scanned the QR code on the The Haven Cabins Hochatown/Broken Bow signs, and decided to check out Tributary as well!

Friends: The Tributary Lodge is officially ready for our first guests. We have a wonderful group of 13 friends about to check in to celebrate each other, family, and life. And that's what this is all about.

The last few weeks have been furnishing, decorating, and "run-in"... we always stay at our properties before our guests, so that we can test everything, make sure the technologies in this energy-efficient property all work, and - to be honest - enjoy a little time in the woods for ourselves.

For those that don't know, this is another family project for us... every stage of design, construction, furnishing and setup have involved family and dear friends. And we plan to spend a lot of time up there with them.

Our official photos are up... my favorites are the night pictures. Having been up there for the last 3 weeks, I can attest to the magic of the woods at night... and the consistent wildlife (I literally saw deer on the property every day).
