The news you've been waiting to hear for 685 days!

Almost all trails will OPEN on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14 at 8am. Apologies in advance for any relationship strife this may cause. Sorry, honey. "When it snows, you go." Forecasts show 30+ degrees the week of the 24th and without any additional snow we're looking down the barrel of a 10 day season.

POOR to FAIR trail conditions are expected. Most trails have only had one pass with a groomer and there isn't enough snow to drop the blades and fill much in. It's going to be rough out there but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

It's thin, you will encounter dirt, rocks and sticks. Stop by Trails-North Powersports LLC in Ladysmith for a new set of carbides and slides. Take this as an opportunity to dust off the cobwebs and make a a short loop or two for lunch or dinner. If you are traveling from downstate or out of state, we'll happily host you but don't expect to put on 100 miles a day, unless self punishment is your thing. 50 miles will feel like 150. Better snow can be found further north, I think?

So take it slow, stay on the right side of the trail and safely enjoy what looks to be a short riding window for 2025!

All of our neighboring counties, Barron, Chippewa, Price, Sawyer and Taylor, will all be open as well.
