As the new owners, Bill Bertrand and Ben Abfalter, we’re proud to restore and reimagine this special place with deep respect for its legacy and a clear focus on its future. We both live part-time on Lake Holcombe, and we don’t just run Eastbay—we believe in it. We’ve walked these docks, shared these views, and we know just how much this place means to those who call it home (or home for the weekend). Eastbay is also about people—our team is made up of hardworking, big-hearted locals who care deeply about your experience. From the kitchen to the dock to the dining room, they’re the ones who make the magic happen. We are honored to work beside them and support them as they bring Eastbay to life, one shift at a time. We’re also deeply committed to our community. Whether it’s through hosting fundraisers, supporting local talent, or partnering with area organizations, we see Eastbay as a gathering place that reflects the heart of Holcombe. This little guy taught us something this weekend.

Nobody told him to be careful.

Nobody told him to stay clean.

Nobody told him what the experience was supposed to look like.

He just enjoyed it.

Completely.
Honestly.
Without permission.

Somewhere along the way, adults get away from that.

We worry about appearances.
We worry about schedules.
We worry about what everyone else thinks.

Kids don't.

They're too busy making memories.

Truth is, that's what Eastbay has always been about.

Not perfect moments.

Real ones.

The kind where the fish fry runs long.
The band plays your favorite song.
The sunset catches you by surprise.

If you're looking for the action this Saturday...

And enough cold beverages to make Monday somebody else's problem.

Now here's the part we're especially excited about.

When we unexpectedly lost our evening headliner this week, we found ourselves scrambling to save one of our biggest summer Saturdays.

Then we hit the late lottery.

Six Figure Sunrise stepped up.

These folks are more than one of the Chippewa Valley's most recognizable bands. They're like family to us. Their willingness to rearrange schedules, give up their Saturday, and jump in to help save the Eastbay experience proved it.

If you've never seen them before, you're in for a treat.

High-energy country.
Classic rock.
'90s favorites.
Big vocals.
Big stage presence.
And the kind of performance that keeps people hanging around long after they planned to leave.

You'll be seeing them on some very big stages next week.

But this Saturday, you get to see them right here at The Bay.

It's Friday on Lake Holcombe.

You're currently trying to determine whether tonight requires a hoodie, jorts, or a complete disregard for good judgment.

Meanwhile, Mother Nature appears to be making things up as she goes.

Fortunately, the forecast at Eastbay remains unchanged:

We're still pulling for a beautiful night on the lake, and if there's any way possible, that's exactly where the party is going down.

If not? No big deal.

Your fish fry just becomes a little more musically intriguing.

And at 9PM, things transition into Rock The Dock Karaoke, powered by KaraFun and somehow supervised by Billy Bay. We use the word "supervised" very loosely.

By that point, the forecast shifts from partly cloudy to completely unpredictable.

Either way, the only forecast we're confident in is a 100% chance of Eastbay.

Cool Hat takes the stage at 6:00 PM before Rock The Dock Karaoke powered by Karafun keeps the party rolling into the night.

🎤 SATURDAY
EMMK gets things started at 2:30 PM before one of the biggest draws on the lake this summer, Six Figure Sunrise, takes over the stage at 6:00 PM.

🎵 SUNDAY
Father's Day Soundtrack returns with Bryce Hedtke at 2:30 PM, bringing the perfect finish to a weekend built for dads, families, friends, and lake life.

Whether you're coming by boat, by golf cart, from the campground, the cabin, or across the lake, Eastbay will have live music every single day this weekend.
