We are steps from BOTH private beach access and private marsh boardwalk and pier where you can launch a boat or kayak, fish, crab, or enjoy the abundant wildlife and stunning marsh views. Front porch and upstairs queen bedroom have ocean views! Listen to the waves crash from home while relaxing on the deck, or use the private beach access and enjoy breathtaking sunsets. Our beach is wide with soft sand, perfect for long strolls or building sand castles. Our property is appropriate for families with children, and our quiet, peaceful location allows for safe bike riding, scooters, and other outdoor activities. We have a fully stocked kitchen, game closet, smart TVs in the living room and every bedroom, fiber internet, even a remote work station! We are located on a short, dead end street with the beach on one side and the marsh on the other! After a long day of sun and sand on the beach, walk out to the star deck on the boardwalk with a late night snack, the star-gazing can't be missed. The entire home has been updated with new and/or quality furnishings and bedding. House is also super family friendly with lots of baby and kid gear (1 baby gate, 2 booster chairs, 2 pack and plays, and a baby monitor). Well stocked game and puzzle closet, plus lots of books for every age! We have fiber internet, smart TVs in every bedroom and living room, HDMI cords plugged in and ready for your devices, and USB charging spots throughout the home. We have a fully stocked kitchen with new appliances, and the entire inventory will be sent upon booking! We have a beach wagon, rolling cooler, toys, beach chairs, and several beach tents and umbrellas. Outdoor shower, picnic table, and propane gas grill. Dogs allowed - we have an XL crate here if you need one and 2 dog beds (don’t have to crate them but if you do it’s nice not to lug it with you!). Holden beach policy is no dogs on beach May 20-Sept 10 from 9 am to 5 pm, so basically you can bring them before 9 or in the evening - which is good because it’s too hot for them anyway during the day. Our home is located on the west end of Holden Beach, which is very quiet and private. Mostly retired homeowners on our street! Our home is well suited to a quiet, peaceful, relaxing vacation for families. We are absolutely taking all Covid cleaning precautions, including disinfecting of all high touch services with an EPA approved cleaner, and we will have buffered bookings as needed while tracking Covid. During Covid and the foreseeable future, we are using a linen service which delivers commercially washed and sealed high end sheets. Blankets and quilts are washed between each stay as well. You may choose to have beds made prior to arrival, or if you prefer they can be left on the porch sealed and ready. Comfy beds are essential to a relaxing stay! Our home is equipped with 2 king bed owner's suites. The first bedroom is a large king master suite on main floor with sitting area, balcony, and attached bath w/ large walk-in shower. This bedroom suite is located at the end of a long hall with a separate door, similar to a MIL suite. There is a sleep number mattress with cooling memory foam topper and thick quilted mattress pad. The second floor has another owner's suite at the top of the stairs with a brand new cal king hybrid mattress and thick quilted topper. The attached bath has a tub/shower combination. Our 3rd bedroom has a luxury queen bed with a quilted topper, and space to set up a twin mattress and frame if needed. The 4th bedroom features a double bunk bed with trundle, and sleeps 5! There is a bathroom in the hallway between bedroom 3 and 4 with a tub and shower combo. The upstairs landing has an adorable reading nook full of books, games and toys for all ages. There are 2 DVD players in the house as well, in case you need a break from streaming and want to rent a movie!
