This is what a week at The Beach Haus feels like…

Slow mornings with coffee on the porch while the island is still waking up.

Long days spent chasing the tide, collecting seashells, and never once checking the time.

Afternoons filled with salty hair, sandy feet, and naps that somehow hit differently after a day in the sun.

Evenings around the table, fresh seafood for dinner, cards and laughter after sunset, and one last walk on the beach before calling it a night.

There’s no rush here. No packed schedule. Just simple moments that somehow become the ones you remember most.

This is June in Holden Beach. 🐚

The windows are open before the coffee is even brewed. The salty air drifts in with the morning breeze. Bikes roll down quiet streets. Towels are slung over shoulders. Sand finds its way into everything.

The day is spent chasing sunshine, collecting seashells, floating in the waves, and losing track of time. Lunch is casual. Naps are optional. Sunsets are mandatory.

As the sky turns shades of pink and gold, families gather on decks and around dinner tables, sharing stories from another perfect beach day.

And then you wake up and do it all over again.

When we created The Hartman Beach Haus, we wanted it to feel like more than just a vacation rental. We wanted it to feel like a place where families could settle in, slow down, and make themselves at home.

So when a guest describes it as a “home away from home,” we know we’ve accomplished exactly what we set out to do.

Every detail—from the cozy interiors to the outdoor spaces designed for gathering, relaxing, and soaking up the coastal breeze—was chosen with care. Not because it’s a rental, but because it’s a place we genuinely love and enjoy ourselves.

🍤 Dock House Seafood & More — Laid-back coastal vibes, fresh seafood, and waterfront views that make you want to stay awhile.

🧜‍♀️ Mermaids Island Grill — A Holden Beach favorite with a fun atmosphere and a menu that’s perfect after a long day in the sun.

🦀 Provision Company — An iconic waterfront dining experience. Grab a table overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, order a basket of shrimp, and enjoy one of the best sunsets around.

🌴 Castaways Raw Bar & Grill — Casual, lively, and always a great choice when you’re craving seafood, burgers, and a cold drink after a beach day.

Of course, every beach vacation should include at least one evening of takeout enjoyed barefoot on the deck while the sun goes down. 😉
