☕ Saturday Morning Mug Meetup has become one of our favorite traditions at Holden Family Campground!

This morning, the clubhouse was filled with the kind of conversations that make camping so special... stories about golf, yard sale treasures, past adventures, and the excitement of what’s still ahead. Laughter, shared experiences, and new connections filled the room as everyone took a little time to slow down and enjoy the moment.

Our hope for the Morning Mug Meetup has always been to create a place where our guests can pause from the busyness of the week, reflect on where they’ve been, talk about where they’re going, and simply enjoy good conversation with great people.

One of the best parts of camping is the people you meet along the way. Campers are some of the friendliest and happiest people you’ll ever encounter, and there’s something special about watching new friendships begin while longtime friendships grow even stronger.

A warm cup of coffee, a delicious donut, an inviting clubhouse, and conversations that turn into memories, that’s what Saturday mornings are all about.

Thank you to everyone who joins us and helps make these moments so meaningful. We love watching the unexpected memories and friendships that continue to blossom here at Holden Family Campground. ❤️☕🍩

🦞 What a Lobster Feast it was! 🦞

Last weekend, our campground came together for an incredible lobster feed organized by some of our amazing campers. They brought the lobsters, the clams, all the supplies needed to cook them, and generously prepared and cooked this delicious meal for everyone who wanted to join in on the fun.

We are so grateful to Go Gramp Go, the lobsterman and his son, along with their family, for sharing their time, talent, and hard work to make this event such a success. They truly went above and beyond, and it was enjoyed by everyone who gathered around the table.

The feast was complete with plenty of melted butter for the lobsters and clams, and delicious blueberry and strawberry desserts to finish it all off. There wasn’t a clam left, and there wasn’t a lobster left...that’s how you know it was a hit! 🦞🧈🍓🫐

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this such a memorable campground gathering. We love seeing our campers create these special moments together!

🎨😂 Last night's Paint Your Partner Night was one for the books!

Let's just say... there were a few masterpieces... and a few that belonged in their own special art gallery. 🤣

From extra-large ears and sideways hats to dramatic eyelashes, mysterious mustaches, and some very "creative interpretations" of each other, the laughs never stopped. We even had a great group of spectators cheering everyone on, laughing along, and enjoying all the fun!

We learned two very important things:

🎨 Beauty really IS in the eye of the painter.
❤️ Love means smiling, laughing, and proudly showing off whatever masterpiece your partner creates!

Everyone was a great sport, and the best part wasn't the paintings—it was the laughter, conversations, and memories made together. That's what campground life is all about.
