The House Next Door has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and totals 1,873 square feet of living space. An attached oversized two-car garage is not included in a standard stay. The House Next Door is intended to be a full turn-key rental complete with all the amenities you enjoy at home.
The upstairs bedrooms offer queen-sized beds, while the downstairs bedroom offers two full-size beds. The downstairs
bedroom closet contains four twin-sized floor memory foam mattresses with complete bedding kits and a bonus room with a twin-sized futon. A pack-and-play is also available in this closet. The basement living room offers a spacious queen-sized pull-out couch with supporting bedding stored in the downstairs bedroom closet. Bedside steps are present in each upstairs bedroom to ensure safe entry and exit from the bed in those rooms. The house has some area rugs. If a guest uses a walker or cane, please let us know and we can clear these rugs quickly to ensure safety during the stay.
The kitchen is outfitted with brand-new stainless steel appliances, even the toaster! When traveling, coffee is essential and our coffee maker supports 14 cups. Local coffee of seasonal variety is provided, with spare coffee stored in the kitchen freezer. Starbucks decaf is also provided. An assortment of coffee cream, sweeteners, and teas are present with the coffee maker. A large blender is available if you're looking to be more creative with your drinks or cooking. The cabinets are filled with cooking utensils, eating utensils, wine glasses, glass and plastic drinking cups, bowls, plates, serving platters, a full pot and pan set, cake pans, spices and seasonings, baking ingredients, food storage, and much more!
If you're visiting with a larger group, the dining table in the kitchen area does have a leaf to expand it. There are three stools at the breakfast bar for a seating total of seven in the kitchen. An additional dining table, seating four, is located at the bottom of the stairs in the lower living area. This additional table is a great space to feast on your meal or compete in a card game (or the various games we've provided). A variety of tabletop games are located in the hutch below the television in the downstairs living room. Toys for children can be found in the grass bins located in the basement bedroom bonus room. Coloring books and some coloring utensils can be found in the drawers to the left side of the kitchen's built-in desk.
Freshly washed white towels are plentiful in both bathrooms and the linen closet upstairs. Also found in the linen closet is aloe vera gel, after-sun lotion, and makeup remover. Black makeup cloths are provided to support makeup removal and help keep our white towels stain free. The upstairs bathroom offers a hair dryer and a bottle of relaxing bubble bath below the sink. Our bathrooms include cotton balls, cotton swabs, healthy soaps (body, hand, shampoo, conditioner), flossers, and quality toilet paper. Our laundry room offers free & clear detergents, free & clear dryer sheets, and distilled vinegar. An iron with an ironing board and a handheld electric clothes steamer is available in the closet at the top of the stairs near the kitchen.
Technology is important to us! For your satisfaction and security, we've implemented the best wireless internet service, smart televisions in each living room and bedroom (Netflix is on us!), a security camera over the driveway, and wireless or electronic locks at all entry points to the house.
We take safety seriously at The House Next Door. We regularly review opportunities for improvement and implement them quickly. The front stoop has two steps leading to the entryway. The house is a split-level home that has a very narrow entryway presenting guests with 7 steps to the upper or lower level upon entering. Handrails and step grip treads are present along both stairways for safety.
Outdoors, the front yard is large and open while the back yard is smaller but fully fenced-in. The backyard is overlooked by a beautiful shaded deck, freshly constructed in April 2024. The deck furniture includes a four-person table with an umbrella and two zero-gravity chairs. A nice Weber propane grille is provided for a top-notch cooking experience with your family.
