We're looking for someone who likes to paint beautiful old houses. About six weeks' work at $17.25 an hour on payroll, plus some B&B food and coffee. Two separate old properties along Allegheny Street. Some of it is just grunt prep work, but we're also painting detailed relief and using fine stencils. Now through October.

Coronavirus update July 29: We have re-opened at 50% capacity. The house is clean, large and well-ventilated, so while we wear masks to serve breakfast, guests are not required to wear masks at any time.

We've had a rare cancellation for State College graduation weekend May 4 & 5. We're 45 minutes from State College, Hollidaysburg, Pa. The Dorothy Day Room has a private bathroom with shower & tub. It comes with our amazing breakfast, made with mostly certified organic and locally sourced ingredients. Our place has fast wi-fi, books and musical instruments, but no televisions. $135/pn.
