Every year, we elect a new suite of officers. Sometimes, we elect past Masters to lead us, but it always our greatest honor to welcome a new Master to lead us.

Along with him, most of his officer line are new to their positions bringing new ideas, excitement and energy.

Please join us in congratulating Wor. Ed Mitchell to The East to lead our Lodge to another amazing year!!!

Also, special thanks to the Kilwinning Club of Boston for another amazing and fun Installation ceremony!

September 11. 2001 — another day that will forever live in infamy — is an event and a place in time where we all remember where we were and what we were doing right then and there.

As Americans, our world had changed. As Americans, this was a wake up call. This told us our actions had consequences. This told the average American that there are those that would do us harm just for who we are and what we have built.

Terrorism is meant to cause fear, and in that, the mission was accomplished by those who would do us harm. But something else that came out of it, was unity and a recognition that there are still heroes among us.

Let us not ever forget the innocents or heroes that have fallen that day, but let us also focus on the good: The unity, and the American way of life in which the only colors that matter — red, white and blue — and the community that helps one another as we all have struggles and need a hand sometimes.

Today — and every day, really — let us focus on what brings us together as Americans, and not what divides us. Let us illuminate common ground and march toward it. Let us help one another, because it’s the right and American thing to day.

Never forget.

It’s seems like there’s always a shortage of blood. According to the Red Cross, this one is historic for them. While we are not aligned, their shortage affects the others, and stresses the system for our most vulnerable.

Could you consider attending our Blood Drive on Saturday to help? Check our events for the link to preregister, or walk in from 8-2:30. You literally could be saving lives!

Fewer donations and higher demand has seen a supply shortage worsen, the American Red Cross tells the BBC.

🇺🇸 Freedom is never inherited—it is earned, defended, and entrusted to each new generation.

As Masons, we honor the timeless principles of liberty, integrity, and brotherhood that strengthen both our Craft and our nation. This Independence Day, let us remember those who sacrificed for our freedom and recommit ourselves to building a future worthy of their legacy.

Happy Independence Day from the Brethren of our Lodge! 🇺🇸📐💙
