Built in the early 1950’s, the Desoto Oceanview Inn has been thoughtfully and caringly restored to capture the charm and comfort of old-Florida. Architectural details have been carefully preserved and gracious amenities have been added to provide desired comforts for your stay with us.

Clean and friendly are two words often used by guests to describe a visit to the Desoto Oceanview Inn, we call it hospitality. It’s something that we take very seriously. Every thing we do revolves around exceeding your expectation.
Health and the environment
And, while clean and friendly certainly top our list of passions, when you arrive, you can rest assured that we also are also looking after your health and the environment. Our commitment to “green” practices extends to the use of chemical-free, safe cleaning and laundry products, native-Florida gardening, chemical-free, safe pest management, recycling, compost area and a completely smoke-free environment. Our garden was designed to flourish with minimal impact on the environment. Planted with all native Florida specimens, the Oceanview Inn is a designated National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat, Florida Certified Wildlife Habitat and NatureScape Broward Certified Property. It is one more way we’ve earned “Green” Hotel designation at the Oceanview Inn.
