Another weekend of fun activities - Bingo and Tenzi. We had some fast players this time! Just a reminder that there are only 5 more weekends of camping this season and one more opportunity for homemade ice cream - on Labor Day. There are still some open spots for just for you, so give us a call. The weather has been gorgeous for a fire and smores. We look forward to seeing you here at Oak Knoll Family Campground!

Wow, what a great time! Thanks so much to the Blue Lake Township Fire Dept for coming out and sharing their knowledge about fire safety. And the popcorn was great too. Make sure you discuss a fire safety plan at home with your family including how to get out of your home and a meeting place outside the home so everyone knows where to go!

Just a reminder that Blue Lake Township Fire Dept will be coming to Oak Knoll Family Campground this evening around 7:30 to talk about fire safety. I also heard a rumor there will be popcorn in the pavilion as well. This is for the campers and the community, so come on down and enjoy!

Another great day on White Lake! Thank you site 42 for inviting our seasonals and dad for a successful day of salmon fishing. Can't wait for dinner tonight!

Happy 4th Of July!! As has become our tradition here at Oak Knoll Family Campground, we celebrated with homemade ice cream, and it was just the thing to beat the heat. We are so thankful this year the rain held off and it was a great weekend!!! Thanks to all the campers who made our weekend so good - we appreciate you all.

Ice, Ice Baby!!! We are so happy to announce that our new ice machine came in and is now filled with ice ... just in time for the fourth of July crowd and all this heat! We have a few sites left for this weekend if you haven't made a reservation yet. And don't forget holiday weekends at Oak Knoll Family Campground mean homemade ice cream!!

Happy Father's Day to all those cool dad's taking their kids camping this year!! We were back with our annual "donuts with dads". We so appreciate all they do for us. We also had a new activity this week - foam airplane competition. Although they all looked good, we are not sure which technique worked best to make the planes fly the furthest - holding it up front, in the back, with the wind, getting it wet, closing your eyes, or just plain luck?? We still have openings for next weekend and a few left for the 4th of July. Call to reserve your spot! 231-894-6063

What a great start to the season. Memorial Day - first and foremost remembering our Veterans - we thank you! Our usual holiday homemade ice cream - yum!, Friday night Bingo (no one remembered my favorite bingo number to win a lollipop!), and several campers had some great fishing this weekend. With a little crazy Michigan weather thrown in, it was an amazing weekend. We can't wait to see you all back again for another camping weekend. Don't forget Donuts with Dad on Father's Day weekend (June19-21)
