At the cimitero at San Miniato in Florence was this sculpture. He is in uniform and warm smiles are exchanged between him and the woman. He died in 1944 and she died in 1945. They did not survive the war! It is very sad. A beautiful memorial!

We offer homemade breakfasts prepared just for you with the finest local ingredients. Enjoy a “cooked to order” breakfast or we will pack a togo breakfast sandwich to take with your day’s adventure. Our natural setting attacks wildlife: eagles, moose and lots in between. You can sit in the garden or around the fire pit. It is a short ride to shopping and the Spit just 2.5miles to the center of town. Above all we cater to you. Make a fire outside and enjoy the view. A kid friendly swing sits in front yard.
