We’ve been a little quiet over here the last couple of months… but not for lack of movement. Just the opposite.
We’ve been plugging along, staying busy and doing our best to keep up with everything that winter in Alaska throws our way. The cold this year really had a way of draining the energy right out of us, and at times it felt like we were just trying to keep pace.
But through it all, we’ve been incredibly grateful for every guest who chose to stay with us. Your support truly means a lot.
This last week especially, I’ve been in it — getting into the cabins and scrubbing everything from floor to ceiling. Windows open, fresh air moving through, and that beautiful view reminding me why we do this in the first place.
And let me tell you… this sunshine 💛 has been everything. It’s helped break up that long stretch of cold, dark, routine days and given us the push to really get moving again.
We’re diving into deep cleans, freshening things up, and getting everything ready as we head into our spring and summer season.
And we’re really excited to share this—
The Dall Sheep Cabin, which was seriously damaged in a fire last year, has been fully refinished and is officially back and ready to welcome guests again. We didn’t quite lose it, and bringing it back has meant a lot to us.
We’re looking forward to a fresh season, welcoming new and returning guests, and making this year a great one.
