We are retired!!! Thanks to all the wonderful guests at A Rosy Outlook B&B thru the seven years we were in business. We loved it. Both have private baths.

A Rosy Outlook B&B is a ranch style home stay Bed and Breakfast nestled on the hillside overlooking the Homer Spit, Kachemak Bay and the glaciers of the Kenai Mt. Range in Homer, Alaska.We offer a two room suite with special discount pricing for groups and another room with a queen size bed. A full home cooked breakfast is served. We have Wi fi, satellite TV and easy one step access through private entrances.

Nothing more painful than watching someone at the end of their life because of cancer Trying to look good, but after chemo and radiation ... you know the person physically changed and they're in shock!! I know many of you do not give a damn of this message because of course, the cancer has not touched you. You do not know what it's like to have fought the fight or had a loved one who leads a battle against cancer. For all the men and women I know, I ask you a small favour and only some of you will do ... If you know someone who has led a battle against cancer, still struggling or who passed, please add this to your status for one hour as a mark of respect and remembrance ...

Even tho we are missing all the wonderful people we met as guests at A Rosy Outlook B&B. We are enjoying our "free" time.
We have been working on the landscape and fixing everything that has been neglected. We make our first trip camping next week for our 36th. Time flies when you're having fun. 💞

Today we saw our first newborn moose calf of the year. Guests and neighbors have been telling us about their sightings and today we were treated to a glimpse of the new addition to the neighborhood.

A great trip to Halibut Cove last week. What a treat to see two sea lions on Gull Island. Thanks for a delicious lunch at the Saltry and tour of Still Point Retreat Center. Love the fam trip each spring.

We were wakened around 6:15 this morning by a 5.8 magnitude earthquake. Biggest we've had near us in a very long time. Don't see any damage here. It is a beautiful sunny day.
