A fun little backstory…

I used to run a vintage wholesale business out of a massive textile recycling factory in New Jersey. We supplied vintage shops, fashion designers, and film & TV costume departments.

There was always one mysterious bale sitting outside my office gathering dust. (Clothing was compressed into giant bales, basically like hay, for storage and shipping.) Through the wrapping, I could see colorful felt pennants peeking out.

When I left that job and became a client myself, I finally bought the bale.

It had been packed away since the 80s. Inside were thousands of deadstock pennants from the 60s representing 16 different destinations, including the Poconos.

I’ve been selling them through my vintage shop for years, but then I realized… Loft guests and followers might enjoy owning a little piece of classic Poconos history, too.
