After 17 wonderful years, we have sold Honeybee Inn. Was on the market for two weeks, with only a picture on the state bed and breakfast association site for advertising. First person who looked, bought it. What a blessing. Closing on June 28th. All contingencies satisfied as of today. The new gal will be wonderful, and wants the inn to keep running exactly as it has been. That was one of my biggest hopes, that it would stay an inn. We have an accepted offer on a home in Lake Geneva. But it's a short sale, and even though owners accepted the offer, it's up to the bank. They have till June 15th. If that doesn't happen, we might be renting for awhile.

Here we are on the last day of the . It has been fun! Show us your signature dish. When I look back at the last seventeen years, I'd have to say, the most popular, the one we probably served the most, was our Belgian Waffles with Strawberries and Whipped Cream. (Though we usually put more whipped cream on than showed here.) Midwesterners are easy to please. They don`t go in for real exotic or fancy foods. Just great tasting, simple, mouthwatering basics. Love it!

Day 29 of . One more day after today! Today we show some amenities at our inns. First picture is our Flavia Coffee and tea maker. Second is our wall mounted, lighted magnifying make up mirrors and blow dryers. Third is our Alexa's for every room. We have Amazon unlimited music service. Fourth and fifth are our Bee Kind products. Sixth is a rain shower head, with a speaker you can pair with your phone for music. Day 28 of . Two days left! Today's challenge is to show local attractions of your area. Far and away our biggest attraction is the Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge. Birding is the biggest hobby in the world, and you won't find a better place! Horicon Marsh is the largest fresh water cattail marsh in the US. Over three hundred species of birds pass through here every year. Horicon Marsh Boat Tours (four blocks away), offers sight seeing tours, sunset cruises, and kayak and canoe rental. You can also find hiking and biking trails. Come see this beautiful wetland of international importance! # @ Honeybee Inn Bed & Breakfast

Day 26 of . Today we are suppose to show some of our fruit dishes. First up is our Fresh Berries and Fruit with Honey Lime Dressing. Second is our Blueberry Brule where we actually brule the brown sugar on top with a torch. Third is fresh cut Pineapple with a Maple Cream sauce and toasted coconut. (TO DIE FOR!) Day 20 of is to show outdoor space. We are in a small town, and it would be so nice to be in the country like many of our innkeeper friends, but we do have a few nice outside areas. Guests really enjoy eating breakfast on this outside veranda, or sitting on the patio, enjoying the birds. @ Honeybee Inn Bed & Breakfast
