Whether you're heading out for a morning hike, floating the river, birdwatching along the trails, or simply slowing down on the porch with a good view, summer is one of our favorite seasons in the mountains.

More than a century of guests have passed through these doors. What began as a small Victorian home grew, room by room, into the Inn it is today. We still hear stories from guests whose families stayed here generations ago, and each time, it feels like adding another layer to something already so full.

Some things have changed over the years. Others, like the feeling of being here, have stayed just the same.

Tucked away on the third floor, the Honeysuckle room sits at the top of the house. Bright, quiet, and a little hard to leave. Soft yellow walls, original hardwood floors, and a king bed that does its job well. Oh, and a pedestal soaking tub that earns its own mention.
