Difference in pre-symptoms between HSV and HIV?
HSV Pre-Symptoms:
HSV infection usually presents as a rash at the junction of the skin and mucous membranes, small blisters with itching, burning or tingling sensation.
HIV pre-symptoms:
The acute phase of HIV infection presents with fever, rash, swollen lymph nodes, nausea, and vomiting. The incubation period lasts 8-12 years with no obvious symptoms. Low-grade fever, night sweats, malaise, and shingles are present during the symptomatic phase.
