What an incredible start to Session 1 of Summer Camp! ☀️🌈
Our campers have been busy making memories, exploring new experiences, and embracing every opportunity for movement and discovery.

From meeting furry friends at the petting zoo 🐐🐰 to cooling off during Water Day 💦, every day has been filled with excitement and joy.
We’ve danced, moved our bodies, laughed with friends, We love watching our campers build confidence, curiosity, and connections with the world around them.

We can’t wait to see what adventures the rest of the summer has in store! 🌟

A sweet moment of connection when the class of the 4’s shared their favorite stories with baby nido. The babies connected through smiles, sounds, and curiosity. It’s in these moments our school community comes to life as we see empathy, confidence, language, and relationships grow naturally across ages. ❤️

This week, the Princess of Wales, through her work with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, visited the birthplace of the Reggio Emilia approach, the educational philosophy at the heart of everything we do at KLA Schools.

Her visit is more than a diplomatic moment. It is a global acknowledgment that how we educate our children matters deeply.

The Reggio Emilia approach is rooted in a profound belief: that children are capable, curious, and full of potential from the very beginning. It centers creativity, listening, and the understanding that learning happens through relationships with peers, educators, families, and the environment itself.

As Francesco Profumo, President of Fondazione Reggio Children, put it: in an era of major technological and social transformation, starting anew with children means starting anew with the future.

At KLA, we carry this philosophy into every classroom, every atelier, every moment of wonder. Knowing that the world is watching and affirming its value only deepens our commitment.

Early childhood education isn’t just important. It’s everything. 🩵

We believe childhood is sacred — and we’ve built our schools around honoring it.

What started as a single preschool in Miami has grown into a community of schools. But the intention behind every door we’ve opened has stayed the same.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: every child is capable, curious, and full of potential. Our role is to create a place where that potential can unfold — through play, through wonder, through the quiet confidence that comes from being truly seen.

Because early childhood isn’t just the beginning of learning. It’s the foundation for how a child sees themselves, and the world around them.

This is the beauty of KLA.

What does it mean to prepare a child for the future?

At KLA Schools, we’re not preparing children for a test. We’re preparing them for a world that is constantly evolving.

Through inquiry, collaboration, and meaningful dialogue, children learn how to think, not what to think.

Because in the age of AI, it’s not about having all the answers. It’s about knowing how to ask the right questions.

We’d love to show you what this looks like in our classrooms. Schedule your tour through the link in our bio.

Today’s Professional Development Day led by Claudia Chaustre and our pedagogical coordinator, Sarah Nunn, began with breakfast together and a joyful body activation experience led by Ms. Jackie, the same loving morning ritual she shares each day with our Baby Nido classroom.
Our teachers spent the day reflecting on ways to connect more deeply with the thinking of the child, exploring the flow and rhythm of their classrooms, and strengthening their understanding of child development.
