Today has been a bittersweet day as Coy and I have officially sold the Cove. We have enjoyed the years there and all the many friends we met that became family. The memories will forever be cherished. The new owners plans’ are SUPERB and we think EVERYONE will be ecstatic with the outcome. The Cove will never be the same again, it will be the best it’s ever been. Transfer of this page to the new owners is coming soon! Show them the love you showed us guys!

Thanks again, and we will see you down there! Thanks for 13 years of mind blowing 🤯 and liver polluting 🍻☠️ good times! We’ve enjoyed it and are so happy to go to the Cove and enjoy it as paying customers!

What a beautiful time of the year it is!!!! 🍂🍁I LOVE this season, even the nasty rain🌧️ and trasition, but I still love it. We hope all has a fantastic Thanksgiving week. 🦃This time of year makes you realize what is really important!

Mitchell Anthony Young was born in Pasadena, Texas on May 19, 1959 to Lyla Ann Young and Marvin Young. He passed from this life on September 12, 2022 at 9:33am at the age of 63 in Conroe, Texas.

Mitch was a beautiful soul that loved with his whole heart. His friends and family were what he lived for. He never met a stranger. Mitch was the wearer of all hats, the life of any gatherings, always full of smiles and would give you the shirt off his back to help anyone. His presence was always known by his jovial demeanor. He was truly a free spirit! He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.

Mitch was a long time resident of the Thomas Lake Community and served on the Thomas Lake Road Volunteer Fire Department for several years. If you live in the Thomas Lake Community, odds are likely that Mitch helped build your home or at some point, helped repair it.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Marvin Young.

He is survived by his Mother, Lyla Ann Young, Sister, Vicki Whitman and Fiancé, Susan Peters.

His services will be located on Thomas Lake Rd, on the waterfront in front of his home located at 6 Lee Drive, Huntsville, Texas 77320, Saturday October, 1, 2022 at 11:00 am.

With great sadness, as many already know, Mitchell Young a.k.a. Mitcholio, passed away Monday September 12, 2022 at 9:33am. He has been in our comminity for years and will be truly missed. He served on Thomas Lake Rd. Volumteer Fire Dept as well for several years. He was the life of all parties, a big goofball, and would give you the shirt off his back, literally. I can’t think of a time he wasnt smiling and never saw him anything but happy.

His significant other, Susan Peters, is awaiting the return of his ashes before scheduling his services. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. He will be greatly missed!
