The rock wall may have seemed impossible at first, but today one of our campers showed what can happen when courage meets determination. 💙
With the cheers of new friends below, encouragement from counselors, and faith in God guiding her, she took on the challenge of climbing a rock wall for the very first time. Step by step, she pushed past her fears, tried something new, and reached heights she never thought possible.
Moments like these are what camp is all about. Building confidence, making lifelong friendships, trusting God, and discovering that we are capable of more than we imagine. These are just some of the things campers gain at Cedarbrook Texas. ⛰️✨

🇺🇸✝️ At camp, we believe in the importance of both God and Country. Each morning, we begin our day by gathering together for our daily flag raising ceremony, a tradition that reminds us to be grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and the blessings God has given us.

Our Explorer-level campers have the honor of leading these ceremonies throughout the week. This responsibility helps them develop leadership, respect, discipline, and pride as they serve as role models for the younger campers.

The flag ceremony is more than just a daily routine—it’s an opportunity to start each day with purpose, gratitude, and a reminder of the values that bring us together as a camp family.
