sunset. We have the perfect view! We are a clean, small, 6 room, family owned and operated motel situated between Toledo and Cleveland. Strategically located near Cedar Point, the Lake Erie Islands, Norwalk Raceway Park, quaint neighboring towns, local marinas to accommodate any sized boat, public fishing at local piers, hundreds of good restaurants and thousands of activities for all ages and the best fishing on Lake Erie. Our property is very spacious. We have a large yard with mature maple trees that will shade your short walk from your room to the motel’s private beach. The rooms are clean, generous in size, equipped with two comfortable beds, air conditioning, updated bathrooms, soft towels, cable televisions (if needed), refrigerators, microwaves, a book exchange, wi fi and gracious hosts. A room with a kitchenette is also available.

June 1, 2025 we are no longer offer motel rooms for rent. We do have 3 bedroom houses that can be rented thru RENT BY THE LAKE at 419-366-6336. Thank you for the years of friendship, memories and support. Events can be booked by calling 440-653-1692.

Hello from Wild Waves Motel and Lake Houses. New for this year NEW QUEEN BEDS! The full sized beds are gone. We have updated the beds and the bed linens in all of the motel rooms. Two queens beds in each room. The rooms are spacious enough that there is still plenty of open area in the rooms.

If you are even thinking about a visit to our lovey, lakefront property with a large, sandy, private beach CALL ASAP.

Summer of 2021 is booking fast.

We would like to thank everyone that stayed with us this summer.

New for 2021, the house to the east of the motel will be available for rent again and we have purchased and installed all new queen sized beds in the motel rooms.

"This was a hidden gem of a stay. With Covid concerns it was nice to be able to enjoy time with my family on Wild Wave's private beach. The Manager was top notch! I got to meet 2 other staff members who were equally as nice. They took extra care to properly clean the rooms with special attention to Covid concern (yes, they even wiped down the doorknobs). Love this place and will absolutely return."
