A few things the graphic doesn't tell you:

The hot pools are included with a cottage stay. Day guests can buy a pool pass, they're discounted when you book with a spa service.

There's no restaurant on site, but downtown is about five minutes away with some of the best food you can get in Idaho Falls.

Spa services are by appointment only.

Save this for the next weekend that needs to feel like a trip without turning into one.

The first night away feels like too much. An afternoon, that's more like it.

Book a cottage from 12:30 to 7:00 and take the middle of a weekday back.

Nap without listening for anyone. Sit in the hot pools. Finish one whole conversation.

Pickup is still yours. Bedtime is still yours. Nobody has to sleep somewhere new.

If you're looking for some rest or some one on one time with the person you love to reconnect, a daycation might just be what you need.

Twelve hours, and you've completely forgotten you're in Idaho Falls.

And if you're just coming for the day, the front desk sells pool passes, and daycation cottage rentals run 12:30pm to 7pm Monday through Friday.
