This is a gorgeous bloom from 2022 on this date - we're definitely seeing smaller/shorter blooms this year due to the Winter drought, but I'm very happy to say that the garden is pretty self-sufficient after 10 years and will "bloom where it is planted", as they say, with very little watering assistance from us! Here's to Water Wise Gardening!

We love all our visitors:). Even the freeloaders! Although... Because the Western Fence Lizard neutralizes the bacteria that causes Lyme disease which is found in ticks... He's probably just an unpaid employee along with our garter snakes that also do their thing :)
