Holy Cow - where did the Summer go??? We just hit 90 days as an official short term rental in Idaho Springs and have 11 (eleven!!!) 5 star reviews! Hoping to score our twelfth one this weekend :)

People have said the KINDEST things about our home and we are so happy we made the leap to open our front door to new friends from places like Austin, Philadelphia, Virginia and DC! So cool to get to know them just a little bit and give them a safe, clean and beautiful space to stay while they visit Red Rocks, attend weddings, hike 14ers and explore Idaho Springs!

With this year's extreme drought we are really seeing the fruits of our "water wise" xeric gardening of the past decade! Blooms are smaller, stalks are shorter, some plants are choosing to save themselves the effort... But it's thriving and we are being respectful and not trying to fight the situation with excessive watering. The lawn is offended... But perhaps we will rethink the lawn this Fall... But the flowers are still beautiful:). Here are just a few from this super hot week!
