It's time for , campers!

Combine prehistoric finds with all the benefits of modern camping at this week's KOA. Strategically located near Route 191, this campground is the perfect pit stop for Western road trippers.

The campground's variety of RV sites accommodates everyone, from the van lifers to the motorhome enthusiasts. Choose from pull-thru, back-in, or KOA Patio sites and spend less time setting up and more time relaxing. No RV? No problem. Stay in a ultra-comfy Deluxe Cabin or a classic tent site.

The area is known for its abundance of dino finds. Under 20 miles away is Dinosaur National Monument, where you can see over 1,500 fossils on exposed cliff face. Other state parks in the area provide boating and fishing with views of dinosaur tracks along the way. After you've channeled your inner paleontologist, camp is a welcome respite. Challenge your fellow campers to a game of horseshoes or giant jenga, cool off in the pool, or take in a movie under the stars.

Ever wanted to watch a rocket launch while you camp? 🚀

SpaceX launched Starship's 14th test flight and first attempt to go to orbit from Starbase Texas a few weeks ago, and it was a sight to behold from South Padre Island KOA Holiday. SPI offers a unique experience to campers where they can enjoy the coastal breeze, Texas beaches, and the occasional rocket lift off!

Fall 🍁🍂is upon us and so is our end of season. You have 11 more day to get out here and make 🏕️ camp memories for the year. We are going to have some beautiful weather this week through the weekend. Upper 70’s to low 80’s. Lots of beach 🏖️ access which makes for great bank fishing. See 👀ya soon!

For all the Lemolo Lake lovers…FYI Poole Creek is closed for the rest of the year while they do some updating to the park which includes paving. Bunker Hill, East Lemolo, and Inlet will be open till the 22nd is my understanding. BUT of course the KOA will be open until October 11 and we are full hook ups and hot showers with cute cabins. We will be going into our shoulder season prices as well.

UPDATE: Owner found 🤩

Someone just about hit a brown dog on Birds Point Rd. They were able to get it in there car and brought it to us at the KOA. Where we have given it water and food. Call us at 541-643-0750 if this is your dog. You can give me more descriptions about it as well.

Water fall hiking, sluice boxing for treasures, fishing for the title “biggest fish of the day”, going on a tour of clues to find the missing quill or looking for furry bellies to rub we got you covered.
