Come and meet our Mayor!🐾🐾
We are really in the Christmas spirit!
Also, we forgot to tell you that on Thanksgiving day, Phyllis and Glenny had a delightfully wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at the Gastrognome restaurant in Idyllwild, California. The restaurant was serving a special holiday menu of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, asparagus, cranberry sauce, lots of bread with real butter, and pumpkin spice cheesecake for dessert.
Because Phyllis and Glenny are vegetarians, they got the turkey to go for us Mayors, and the restaurant made them a delicious vegetarian pasta for their main course.
Phyllis and Glenny brought us home the turkey, bread and butter, and we got to taste the pumpkin spice cheesecake as well.
We also got our regular dinner in addition to this, so we Mayors were and are living the dream!
I heard the restaurant is going to have another holiday special on Christmas Day, and it is a roast beef dinner. Definitely, make your reservations and don’t miss it.
Based on our downtown visiting schedule on Christmas Day, Phyllis and Glenny plan to be at the restaurant if our downtown visiting schedule with the public allows for time for them to have a meal. Sometimes, they have to forgo that based on the number of people that want to see us. Of course, visits with the public take priority over everything else as I am sure you can understand!
