In other news this week… to complete the trifecta of construction at Oceanique, we began our concrete restoration project beneath Building Four on Monday, October 5. If all goes according to plan, we anticipate completing the work by December.
The project addresses areas of deterioration in our parking garage support beams and concrete columns, helping preserve the structural integrity of our building. This work is part of our ongoing commitment to meeting Florida’s structural and milestone inspection requirements while proactively addressing items identified through our reserve planning.
By taking a proactive approach to these repairs, we are investing in the long-term safety, stability, and preservation of our property.
Our concrete contractor, American Custom Renovations, and our structural engineering firm, Keystone Engineering, have been working closely together to maintain a safe and orderly job site throughout the project.
We understand that the work can be disruptive at times. Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., the construction noise and vibrations can be heard and felt throughout the building, making conversations inside the units challenging. The crews take a scheduled break from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., providing a brief reprieve from the activity.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we complete these important structural improvements to protect and preserve our property for years to come.
