Most birds are built to float. Loons? They’re built like submarines. 🤿

Unlike other birds, loons have solid bones so they can dive up to 200 feet deep and stay underwater for up to 5 minutes. If you’re watching one from the beach and it disappears... grab a coffee, it might be a minute, but they will be back. ☕️🪶
