This was a message that was sent to us by one of our guests and I was asked to share since he was unable to post it to our page.
Dave Schaffer we are so privileged to be able to be a part of your journey. I hope that she will be able to make it back yet again.

Was hoping to leave a message in the page in regards to our latest stay.
Fifty Gulfside is incredibly awesome. The post Hurricanes rebuild is beautiful. The current office administration is friendly, personable and professional. They made us feel like family and took great care of my family. Our recent visit was to take my Daughter and her Husband and 2 boys to the beach as she has been suffering from Stage 4 Cancer. When we decided to do this trip for them last year we didn't know if she would be able to experience it. The last year of Chemotherapy, which Doctors stated hasn't had a good affect on this type of Cancer and they give her a year at most. Well, her multiple tumors have shrunken and she has a better quality of life now. Organizing the trip with Manager Katrina, Condo owner Sharon Zimmerman had been absolutely amazing. Such good and wholesome folks. The new deck, pool rebuild, the office, new elevator and newly rebuilt first floor are all completed and beautiful as well. The beach is as gorgeous as ever.
Again a super loud shout out to all at 50 Gulfside!!

Hello all...good news and bad news. Bad news first, we'll end with something nice
Beginning May 18, the city will start charging for parking. $4.50 an hour- 7 days a week- from 8am to 10pm. In addition to the new parking fees, parking violation charges have been increased from $75 to $100. You can get more details on the city website indian-rocks-beach.com click the "paid parking" tab. It is pay by app, there will be no pay stations.
Everyone that knows 50 knows we don't have extra parking so we urge all of our guests to take that into consideration when thinking about bringing more than one vehicle.
Good news, the back south deck has been framed out and is ready to have the planking start going down tomorrow. We are so close to being back whole.
The temps are hot, the beach is beautiful and the water a tropical blue.

Hello everyone. It looks as if our deck project has a change to the timeline. What they thought would be a two day job of setting pilings, has turned in to a crazy rock filled nightmare for the construction crew. They have hit big rocks while drilling out the post holes and it is taking a lot longer to get them in place. We are expecting continuing work on the south end of the back deck for the next 3 to 4 weeks. While it is a little distracting at times, the weather is perfect and the beach is beautiful.
