One of the most magical times of year is happening right across the street from The Driftwood by Scott & Laura! Tiny hatchlings are making their way from the sand to the Gulf. 🌊💚

If you’re enjoying our beautiful beach, help give these little travelers a safe path to the sea: keep it dark, fill your sand holes, take everything with you and remember, Indian Shores beaches are pet free.

🐢✨ It’s Baby Sea Turtle Season! ✨🐢
Right across the street from The Driftwood, something magical is happening — tiny sea turtles are hatching and making their way to the Gulf of Mexico! 🌊

Help them have the best chance at life by remembering these turtle-friendly tips:

🌙 Keep it dark at night – Turn off balcony lights, close curtains, and avoid using flashlights or flash photography on the beach. Baby turtles navigate by moonlight!

🕳 Fill in your sand holes & knock down sandcastles – What’s fun for us can be a trap for hatchlings. Smooth sand = safe passage.

🚮 Leave only footprints – Pick up all trash, beach toys, and chairs at day’s end so little turtles don’t get stuck.

Let’s make sure these tiny travelers get their shot at a big ocean adventure. 🌊💙
